Have you shopped at Evereve yet? I was first introduced to this store in Naperville, IL while visiting my son and his family. It’s a new store that has a fantastic selection of fun casual clothes for women. They are known for their denim. However, they also have a wonderful selection of dresses, sweaters, coats, boots, and much more. 

A new location opened in Naples this week at Waterside shops. I was so excited to be invited to attend their Grand Opening. I love outdoor shopping malls and waterside shops in Naples, Florida is so pretty with all their fountains. It reminds me when I first visited of Epcot Center. 

Did you know that the sales staff at Evereve  stores are trained stylists? They are available to assist you with helping find clothing to your liking. For example, I am petite and often have trouble finding the right length of pants. My stylist Madison, knew just which pants would be the right length for me. And I don’t have to alter them! They know their merchandise well. Plus, they can offer you options for accessories and more when you find something that you like. Another nice thing I heard about Evereve is that they are a family-owned business and a few of their brands are named after their children. Isn’t that sweet?

Fall Outfit Ideas With Evereve

I pulled together a few fun fall outfit ideas with Evereve that I wanted to share with you.

This belt bag is both functional and cute. It comes with two straps to allow you to wear it as a shoulder bag or belt bag. All you need to do is swap out the straps. I love the hands free option. 

The faux leather blazer with the detachable grey hoodie was another must have for me. I love that you can wear it two different ways. I picked out this fun print tee and sleeveless v-neck shirt to style a casual look with jeans. Next, I found this fall paisley print blouse to wear when I want to remove the hoodie for a dressier look. 

I’m always looking for high-rise jeans, as I feel that they fit me best. So, I tried on this style, I had to buy them. The length was perfect for my height. 

I also tried on two dresses. This shorter leopard dress which has an elastic waist. I think it would look great with a pair of low cut booties. And I found the ruching on this mesh dress is enough to flatter you shape without worrying about it being too form fitting. 

Next, it was on to shoes. I purchased these sandals which reminded me of high-end designer brand. I know that I will get good use of these shoes in Naples. Another perk, they are comfortable. 

It was a fun experience and I look forward to returning. I have already made plans to shop and have lunch with one of my Chicago girlfriends when they visit Naples this winter.

What to Wear to Play Golf?

If you know me, then you would know I am a golfer. I love early fall golf and being outdoors in the cool and brisk, yet sunny weather. When I saw this leopard print vest, I knew immediately it would be great for golf. It also is perfect for many other outdoor activities. I also recently wore it while taking my grandchildren to the pumpkin farm. When I’m active outdoors, I like to keep my arms free from bulky outerwear. This cute quilted vest is a great choice because it will keep you warm. Plus, it allows your arms to move easily. So, whether you are swinging a golf club or carrying around your grandchildren when they get tired of walking, you will move with ease. It’s also reversible which gives you a few more styling options. 

Today, I styled my reversible vest together with Appleseed’s Slimsation Corduroy pants in a camel color. I’m wearing a size 4P and they fit me perfectly. They are made with a soft cotton corduroy fabric which also has a lot of stretch. The stretch helps slim your shape and the flat front pull-on waist gives you a figure flattering silhouette. 

Their Ribbed Cotton Turtle Neck Sweater in Ivory was my pick for underneath the vest because I like to keep my neck warm when I’m spending a good amount of time outside. This all-cotton sweater is great alone or for layering. 

I find that all of these pieces wash nicely and maintain their shape without having to use an iron. Because my iron is something I typically keep well hidden in the back of my laundry room closet. 

Fall Accessories

The Classic Hobo Crossbody Shoulder Bag in black with tan stripes pulls together my entire look and will be my daytime go to for the fall season. It has a magnetic snap for closure and inside there is a smaller pouch that will help to keep your belongings organized. It’s a great priced bag that also comes in a beautiful green shade called juniper which really made my choice difficult! See for yourself right here.

As soon as the cooler weather approaches, I feel the urge to change out my closet. With anticipation of a new season ahead, I pack away my lighter summer clothing in exchange for warmer heavier pieces. It is just not articles of clothing that I am swapping out for fall, I also seek to pull out deeper toned hues and a variety of textures to accommodate the cooler crisp air. I find it exciting that each change in season offers us new clothing opportunities. Personally, I love the feeling of a soft and cozy wool sweater as soon as the temperatures take a dip.  

Last month, I had the opportunity to travel back to the Chicago area to spend some time with my family. I welcomed the opportunity to layer up and enjoy the change of season in the midwest. 

Northern Lights Cardigan Sweater from Appleseed’s

The new season’s sweaters are far from boring as prints and patterns are making their debut.

Today, I am wearing this new Cardigan Sweater from Appleseeds. While browsing their site, this zipped sweater caught my eye immediately because of its vibrant purple shade. The floral & vine pattern has a bit of Nordic inspiration with its geometric border. Another unique added detail is the zipper, which is shaped like a leaf. How perfect for fall!?  The sweater also comes in an array of bold colors that will brighten up your look no matter where you are heading. I’m wearing a size petite small in the cardigan. I’m 5’3” for reference and I found that the sweater hits perfectly right at my hips. 

On this particular day, I had lunch plans with my daughter and daughter in law. We dined outside in the shade, which can be a little breezy this time of year. What I liked about the cardigan is that it can be worn on its own or even styled as a light jacket. 

I paired the cardigan with a pair of black leggings. However, it would also work nicely with denim jeans, khaki pants, or even a long-knit skirt. I’ve layered it over Appleseed’s lavender classic button-down shirt . This slightly tapered shirt is a closet staple. I love that it is made with wrinkle resistant fabric to help keep you looking put together all day long.  I opted to grab the petite size 4 in lavender and am happy with the fit.
